Say if I am a guy who is very polite, who has all the qualities every Girl likes and a Character which is impressive. When i propose you to marry me will you reject me because I am Indian and I have brown Skin.
Is it wrong if i fall in love with an American White Girl, even though if i am ready to sacrifice my life for my love. Will she succumb to the pressure exerted by the white community because of Racial comments thrown on that Girl even though she likes me.

It may be 2007, but some people neve change. I think some people will protest against this marriage. They are influenced, maybe brain washed, through media or any other source to think that they are and will be a superior race. When I read the first few sentances, I pictured you as a white American boy. That is the first thing that people might think of.
And it isn't wrong to fall in love with someone else. It is love - and many people have never experienced a situation like yours.
I think I can relate to her situation better. I met a man of a relgion and a location that is the so called "enemy" of the US. I have heard many things from my friends and family of "wrong decisions" or "he is fooling you".
I have a teacher from India - and you guys are great, funny people. ;) And an amazing culture. I hope everything will work out for you.
Now all American girls think alike, or act alike. I am not sure of her behavoir or how she would react. But it seems that she cares, and would probably want to know if something was bothering you.
The white community might not accept it at first. (Not all people though). But there is racism. :( But it will be accepted no matter what.
If this was not a problem - would you both be happy? Remember that. :) Just focus on you two. It is YOUR lives.

There are many men and women who marry outside their race, religion, and ethnicity. If an American woman is in love with you and her family is tolerant than I don't see the problem.
Now if this girl has a very Intolerant family who will not be happy with her marrying you than there would be a big problem. If she marries you the least that would happen is that the family will be cool (uninterested) to you. The worst is that she will be kicked out of the family for marrying you.
It is not wrong to marry any American woman. But family is thicker than water and what the family thinks of other cultures might cause a problem.
I would talk to this woman first about what her family thinks of other groups.
Now I was in a restaurant two nights ago and there was a mixed racial family and my mother says that if I ever did something like that she would be very angry with me. Now I had thought that my parents were both very tolerant and was quite shocked about that statement.I have a very tolerant family and we're all middle of the road or liberals so I was very shocked by that statement.
What ever happens remember that who you are is so much more important than what you look like.

I think if the girl you're talking about is attracted to you, and has known you for a long time in an intimate way or just as friends but refuses to marry you.. either she just doesn't think she can spend forever with you and is leading you on, or only likes you as a friend. If she's good friends with you in the first place, I'm not sure if it would be a racial issue.
