This site will answer all kinds of questions for you. I'm guessing about $70K.

The average starting pharmacist salary in the Chicago area is somewhere in the mid 90s. Nationally, it's in the low 90s.

It depends upon where you live. National chains are competitive and hospitals rarely can match a drug chain's salary. It also depends on what type of pharmacist you want to be. In a chain, you fill prescriptions and provide patient education. In a hospital, you fill orders for a host of things from surgery-prep to chemotherapy. Go to www.salary.com it will give you idea of a range.

The starting salary is usually determined by how many drugs you can steal and sell on the streets, then it usually ends in a big fine. Why don't you negotiate with the next place that hires you over a salary, while I find something to do about this ache in my pants. I wish I wasn't all alone here. I'm to eroused to even answer a simple question on yahoo.

Check www.salary.com. It is very reliable and allows you to search by area so that you can get a relative sense of what pharmacists in your neighborhood make.
