They will both have bad careers in the NFL. Troy Smith is far too short. Brady Quinn is just another overrated QB from Notre Dame.

I don't know about Troy Smith but Brady Quinn is going to be hard to watch his first year. As was Peyton Manning, Drew Brees, and just about every other great quarterback in history. Anyhow Brady Quinn has a ton of potential and in a year or so he should be really good.

Brady Quinn = Joey Harrington. I think Troy Smith has the potential to be a good NFL quarterback. He does have some downsides, the fact that he is only 5'11 really hurts him since lineman on both sides of the ball are bigger in the NFL than College, defenses can exploit that. But Troy Smith has proven that he is a winner, you don't have to have the god given attributes of a superstar, you just have to know how to win the big game and Smith can do that......Brady Quinn sucks!

I think in a few years Quinn will become a good NFL qb, he has the talent but needs pro development for a few more years. As for Troy Smith i don't see him being much more then a back up who will have maybe one good season during his career. A suprise out there i think is going to become a good NFL qb is Drew Stanton from MSU, had he had some good talent around him this year MSU wouldn't be as bad as they were.

Quinn will struggle and likely be considered a bust, look what happened when he played good teams in collage.
Smith will likely be a low pick and other then the Heisman(popularity contest and QB award) he won't have much expectations on him. His biggest trouble is height to me. He should be decent.

It depends what team Quinn goes to - but he's the total package, strong, fast, great decision maker... He'll be alright. Smith will never complete an NFL pass.

Both do poorly.
Quinn will end up on, like, the Lions. No fault of his own.
Troy Smith is not an NFL QB. No fault of his, he is too short. Doug Flutie had a similar problem adapting to the NFL.
(BTW, it wasn't Flutie: it was idiot coaches.)
