Christmas with the Kranks ? Sorry can't get the image of Tim the tool man Taylor in a speedo at the tanning salon out of my head. Its a nightmare that might take several years of intense thearapy sessions to truly recover and over come the scares that it left.

i dont think its really acceptable for anyone to go because of the health risks and the accerlated aging of the skin that will become later in life. Ignoring that though, plently of men still go. John Gotti's grandson is a fan and opened his own tanning salon with the help his mother's bank account.

I think its acceptable. I used to think it was a little on the feminine side, but two weeks ago when my girlfriend dragged me along with her, i loved it, and i've been tanning everyday for the past two weeks. Its great, and very relaxing. Being from Chicago, its rough with the cold winter, and its nice to have the tan summer look in the middle of a bad winter.
Its not gay, its not unacceptable, and I say that if you feel comfortable doing it, then go for it!

hey man, i am a guy and use to go to a tanning salon daily, its not a big thing for a guy to tan, i always found it to be a great way to relax after a long day at work, plus most women like it when a guy maintains his sexiness (lol) if you enjoy do it!!

It's only if we (as an individual) submit to the notions of our stupid society then we think that it is wrong.
We musn't let the views of society impair our judgement because everyone isn't perfect.
I believe in an honest, straight-to-face opinion rather than what society (or the world) thinks and stereotypes.

lots of guys go to tanning salons - I don't see why not - it's not a "girly" thing -it's about skin.

Seems a little unmanly. A waste of money as well, even when women do it. Use the sun instead. Or just be true to your skin complexion.
