India, Hindu Majority country is having A Muslim as President , Prime Minister from Sikh religion, The ruling party leader is Christian, and out of 28 indian states there are atleast 10 Non Hindu Chief ministers, 12 Non Hindu Governors.

The total population :- 1,129,866,154 Hindu 82%, Muslim 12.20%, Christian 2.31% ( Number = 2,609,990,815 ) , Sikh 2.00%, Buddhists 0.77%, Jains 0.41 %.

NOPE! America is not a Secular, unbiased, tolerant, state for religions other than Christians...the chances of anyone being elected to office without claiming to be a devout Christian would be slim and none.

We are going into other countries to force them into being tolorant and we can't clean up our own back yard! You've noticed a reality...good for you.

If we allow people to practice any religion in this country, we are unbiased and tolerant.

Your population numbers have nothing to do with America's religious percentages. That's what you should be looking into.

To Blaken:

Just because the majority of Americans are Christian, does not mean we do not tolerate any other religion. Like I said before, anyone is free to practice what they choose. The fact that politicians say they are "devout christians" does not mean that other religions are not tolerated and accepted.

In America so far we have a right to believe as we choose. Everyone does not believe the same way all over the world but if they believe in their Creator then that is important.
