Well Mom and Dad had a good day. I am sorry to hear that you are pondering life but, the fact of the matter is that almost everyone is born because "Mom and Dad had a good day". The new question should be "what do I do now?"

Simply you were born as a vessel to spread and continue the human gene pool upon this rock that sails through the stars until such times as the universe draws to close. So make sure you find some excitement to draw attention away from that fact.

Literally because your parents had sex and your mother conceived. But in a philosophical way, you were born to play a little role on Earth where we are all cogs of one big machine. As Leo Tolstoy said in a story, the important thing is to do the best one can do at the present moment to the person one is with at that particular moment.

You were probably conceived with very little thought put into "you".
Being born is just a physical happening.

Now it is your turn to go through life and do things to justify your existance. That means you can put as little tought into your life as some people do conceiving babies, or you can prove to yourself that without you, the world would be a less worthwhile place. the choice is yours.

No one can answer why you were born, but what you do with it is up to you. You have the choice...be happy and make others happy or think about it rest of your life.

I don't know. Why do you post stupid questions like this on the Internet? You know you are only going to get facetious or fundamentalist answers -- yet you do it anyway. Same with being born; your parents know it's going to suck, but they do it anyway.
