I think Bush should start to listen to the world community. He refuses to listen to what the Americans have been saying about his war tactics. What Putin said is pretty serious stuff. Where was all this harsh talk before? Why did it take so long for someone to step up? I think these countries wanted us to do something and now that it is failing they feel free to put in their two cents. I think it comes a tad late, don't you? Neither one are without sin.

Yes the world does need the Russians to counter balance the USA as it did in the old days when Russian "Advisers" were sent to trouble spots where the Yanks are stirring up trouble. It was much better then. There were no Iraq type situations where a massively industrialised nation with 300million people bombs the s*** out of a poor third world country killing and causing the deaths of up to a million people while the folks back home cheer the President as if it was a game of baseball.

Where "normal" Christians or rather so-called Christians think that this is a good thing. Well bravo to Putin. All hes got to do now is make sure the nukes are serviced ready to go if America cant take a hint. At last someone is gonna stick up for poor Iraqis. About bl**dy time too.

Whilst Russia may not be the super power the Soviet Union was I am sure cooler heads in the American administration will discourage any adventures against Russia by Bush, otherwise we will all be radioactive. I know some of the rednecks who write in Answers think America is invulnerable and can therefore do as it wishes where ever and whenever. Dream on. Those who remark that Putin was a KGB officer forget that half of the US Government administration were in the CIA.
What has upset most people in the USA is that there is more than a grain of truth in what Putin says and everyone knows the truth is something none of us like being told.

Putin will be out of the Kremlin even in the previous Bush is out of the White domicile. Putin has placed Russia again on the map, it is in a fashion, an effective aspect, because it resources some stability to a area that lower than Yeltsin had fallen to the international of prepared crime so completly, that the distrobution of guns and guns technologies from the "large 4" that emerged from the U.S. to NGO (study terrorist) entities grow to be a authentic threat. that is all lengthy gone now, using Puitin. We in the West do not see eye to eye on his democracy, yet most of the corruption is lengthy gone, and the econemy in Russia has never been more beneficial advantageous. the solid information for the west is we were given those consequences ion russia, at the same time as there would not look anybody else in Rusia (as of in the present day) with the gutsiness of Putin. So his successor will in all probability be a lot more beneficial gentle. Bush's overseas coverage grow to be effective. i'd quite kill terrorists in Iraq (i'm in the military, so do not tell me to "bypass enlist then" reason i laready did) than see an extra beneficial american die at domicile. To recap: no longer some thing fairly incorrect with both of them.

i think I'd rather have American foreign policies to Russian foreign policie any day. Russia have a hair up their a#s as they are in a pretty weak position at the moment. they are using their oil and gas resources to bully their neighbours and pretty soon they will be doing the same to the rest of us so beware.
the Russians are also a little bit more corrupt

Ya he has a point , but the fact is the countries that the US is likely to wage war with is Russia's backdoor business partners and biggest customers to ship arms to.So the US foreign policy against countries like Iran , Syria and N. Korea actually boosts the Russian economy by building and exporting defence systems and arms to theses countries so Putin is complaining to the media , but secretly thanking the US government I am sure of it.

It's a shame he didn't do so earlier on in his presidency.

Yet check out his record - a vice like grip on the gas supply to Northern Europe, refusing to reveal the circumstances over Litvinenko's death, and of course the continued oppression of the Chechen people.

All this from a man who used to be the head of the FSB (the former KGB).
Maybe it's a bit too late for Putin to change his spots.
P.S. Must say I love the avatar!!!
