I read about Napster but I gather that's been shut down by the feds or the artists involved. Are there websites out there that I can log into and download specific songs for a fee ?

Thanks ( you might get old someday too ya know ! )

Depends on what sort of MP3 player you have. If you bought an Ipod, then the program that comes with it, called Itunes, has a store which you can purchase single songs or whole albums. If you didn't buy an ipod then and you still want itunes, go to apple.com and click Quicktime + itunes.

From what i recall ( i haven't checked resently ) Napster is still up, and you can purchase songs from there too.

Usually your MP3 Player includes a CD which has a program which allows you to transfer songs to your device. Rarely it doesn't but you may try going to windows.com and getting windows media player, they have a music transfer function for many various MP3 players.

If you have the program installed, put your music CD in the drive and look for a function in the program to copy these songs, sometimes it calls it "Ripping". Not "Burning", burning is putting song from your computer onto a CD.

Well, theres alot of sites to download music. It would be best to search for it on google (or yahoo).

:) good luck.

The final CD that i offered became Mariah Carey's Emancipation of Mimi. yet i'd plenty truly get carry of song (legally of path). I hate procuring an entire CD in basic terms to be certain that I in basic terms like 2 or 3 songs. i think of this is a waste of money.

CD's you'll just Download the songs on to your computer and then change them over into MP3 files I believe. Other venues like Cassettes, Eight Tracks, LP's, and Records. Good luck. I don't think you can do that. You'll have to go Online and find the MP3 for the songs off those things you want.

Hey, about time! :)

You can download music from your cd's to your PC with windows media player, and then lod them to your MP3, but not as .mp3, they are saved as .wma, but most MP3 players support that extension.

Good luck and congrats on your purchase! :)

PS: Don't know about napster, I know they have complicated laws in the States, so I couldn't really give you any help on that...
