Why do you think, India has an enemy? I don't. And I cant see why India should have one. All the have is concurrence, contestants in the struggle about economics.
The only real threat, but not enemy, is India itself with all the corruption, unemployment, overpopulation....... etc.

The enemy is within India. The politicians at different levels in the federal and state governments are the real blocks who are great masters in manipulating and fooling the public with their gimmicks and selfish motives. You don't find the real development at infrastructure level and utilities needed . But country boasts 9.4% growth. Where is the development .It is with Politicians, Industrialists, and other rich guys. The real poor is still poor, the infrastucture in urban and country side is deplorable. Why? The enemy in India is manipulating the strings to his benefits.

India's enemy is itself! With rising birth rates, dropping GNP, increased dependence on foreign oil and a lack of a future infrastructure plan spell doom! I like the answer of China as an economic threat, which goes hand in hand with my own.
