To pronounce the word YAHOO is to firstly get the "Ya" correct.
Now if you are from Perth Western Australia like myself & you say
"How Ya Goin Mate"
Well thats where the "YA" came from.
Then instead of saying Boo to scare someone you say "HOO"
& you put the "YA" and the "HOO" together you get
"YAHOO"

I pronounce it like this: "YAH-hoo" The "a" in Yahoo sounds like the "o" in "box" or "mom". Emphasis on "yah".
I was born and raised in western Connecticut...and now I live in the eastern part of Connecticut.
