Food you can play with is VERY Romantic:
1. Cheese Fondue (need Fondue pot):
Melt Swiss Cheese with a dry white wine. Grocery stores have pre-made Fondue cheeses too. Serve with:
French Bread, Celery, Cherry Tomatoes, green pepers, carrots, & green apple slices. Glass of White Wine or Champagne.
2. Chicken Broth/ Oil Fondue. Serve with:
Chicken, Shrimp, Tendar Beef Slices. Then dipping sauces like ranch, coctail, and barbaque. You can also add new red potatoes, brocoli, califlower. Please make sure that the raw meat is kept separate from the vegtables --- or else you may get food poisening. Blush wine or Zinfindel is good mix with the different meats.
3. Chocolate Fondue. Serve with:
Chocolate cake, marshmellows, strawberries, grapes, and cookies. Champagne or Brandy.
------------ --------------------- --------------- -------------
Lighting: If you can stick some black or red lights under the couches this creates wonderful lighting added with a few candles. You can request her to wear certain clothes too by sending an invitation with date, time, and a little saying like "Little Black Dress" or "Swiss Wear".
Music suggestions: Blue Man Group, Moby (Hotel), or if you guys have a "Song" make sure that's played.
Have fun!!!!

If this is for a present for someone, which I'm assuming it is, make their favorite meal.
For my birthday my boyfriend made me my all-time favorite, fettuchini alfredo with caesar salad and hershey kisses for dessert. It was fun because I got to watch him make it all from scratch.
Especially for Valentine's Day include Hershey Kisses in the dessert. =]
