I would say that if you are happy with that person, then age should not be of any relevance (as long as you are both over 16, and not planning to do anything daft).
My husband is 9 years older than me, and we never think about the age difference - until somebody else asks the question. A female friend of mine is married to a man who is 7 years her junior - they are happy and have been together aprox. 15 years.
So assuming you are talking about an age gap with somebody you want a relationship with, as long as you are happy with each other, is what matters.

if the woman is older people think its awful and gossip about it
if the man is older no matter how much older its fine....
double standard I think
But to me, like the others said if both parties are legal age why the problem? I have a very close friend overseas that I am 20 years older but then we are friends

no, in fact, it's quite fitting to knw someone with a three year age gap. i mean, both of u are going thro almost the same stage of life, same crisis, and so, u can b of mutual help. one can be more mature, the other one may need help. for mentorin' it's purrrrrfect!

Depends how old you are. If you are 12 and he is 15 then yes but if you are 70 and he is 73 then no.

Depends on how old you are and what you want to get up to..... Under 18 is a bit tricky........Buy age shouldn't matter after that... my boyfriend is 12 years older than me...

If you're both legal (as in over 18) then no 3 years is not too much. If you're not both legal, then yes!!
