Then if I go to start then MY NETWORK PLACES then go to SET UP A WIRELESS NETWORK FOR A HOME OR SMALL OFFICE then it says do it manually or use a flash drive.

Even if you take the "stuff" off it .... it's as possible as turning a used toilet seat into an LCD screen.

It is asking for your wireless network configuration "stored on a flash drive" or entering the specs manually ... not to use the flash drive as a wireless router.

There are USB flash drives that double as wireless adapters ... but not as routers :

Don't mean to seem disrespectful or arrogant ... just making a very strong point.

It's possible =) you must know how to build a circuit board that meets 802.11 standards. Why not just buy wireless router?
