Edwards at least has 4 more years experience this time, which is better than last election. He was way too green last election.
Obama doesn't have a fighting chance. He at least needs 1 full Senate term, and given that he's Black, I hate to say this, but, our nation isn't ready for a Black president yet.
Hillary Clinton has a fighting chance. People recognize the name "Clinton" and she has Senate experience. The whole Watergate scandal will be a big negative, however, but she will have the support of women voters, especially with a woman as the Senate leader. I think Hillary is probably the #1 Democratic choice, and if she chose Edwards for VP, that would be a good team (or maybe vice versa.)

You should vote for the person that best represents your beliefs in what America is and should be. For most according to recent polls, the "War in Iraq" and the "War on Terror" are foremost issues in selecting the next president. I say open up your question to include the names of Rudolph Giuliani, John McCain, and Mike Huckabee. We know that Hillary, Edwards, and McCain voted for Bush to go to war with Iraq. Giuliani and Huckabee both supported America going to war with Iraq. Obama is the only one who opposed the war with Iraq from the beginning, out the current top six presidential candidates. If you carefully examine all the candidates past statements from 2002 to today, only Obama's position has remained consistent.

So we can move forward in this world for the American People, not just the big companies that only want money in their pocket.
The reason the big companies have so much money is because they charge too much for their products. Why is it just because we need things to live, we have to pay more for it? It is because the big companies can, and get tax cuts for doing it to us.
Most of the people on here have good jobs and it shows through their ability to have Internet connection. The homeless are not posting for their rights because they do not have Internet, the do not even have a home. So while we sit in our little, big, nice or whatever kind of house griping about the high cost of living in a nice house, paying high taxes, and needing a raise so we can have more stuff, they are sitting under a box just waiting for someone to help them. They are not all bum's either. What about the woman who would rather live in her car safe then live in a big house and not be safe from her husbands beating? What about the run a way that could not take another beating?
There are lots of things to debate about the vote we cast.
Do not ask what is in it for me...but ask how can they make a difference.

None of them! The only one with a backbone is Obama, that does not mean that his opinion or leadership is what we need but at least he stands for something something that none of the current opponents do.
