do to play dvd"s on my P.C., what is the best resolution ,i have windows xp .ive tried philips web site not having much luck.
where can you get a good free burning suite?

It just won't play your dvd's ? try a codec (XviD-1.1.2-01112006.exe) and VLC player ( will play everything you throw @ it ) both are free .. You could always update the drivers ( from the phillips website)

Otherwise you need a commercial dvd software like power dvd. You should have got dvd player software with the rewriter.

you need a dvd decoder for windows. Just google it and download.
