why does my pilot bearing keep waering out after only a few miles. 2000 nissan frontier desert runner. 3.3

You ether have a bad alignment with the trans. input shaft to crank shaft or a bent input shaft. Many people bend input shafts putting the transmission on the engine.

do you ride around with your foot on resting on the clutch pedal? It may sound odd, but I make a lot of money replacing clutch assembleys, and or throw-out bearings for this reason, and my customers will not learn to get their foot off the pedal when not using the clutch, even though I am continously telling them to practice this. Other than that, I would say the next time you have to have this replaced, you may want to consider having the run-out checked on your transmission input shaft. A good shop, having noticed this recurrent problem, should have already performed this procedure for their customers benefit. Hope this helps.

the bearing in the input shaft is wore and making it wobble.
