HI!

My BF and I have been together for 5 years - we live together - he is 25 - I am 21. We have done the whole dinner, flowers thing before - but this year I want to do something different and unique!

Any Romantic Ideas??

thanks!

Recently, I expressed my feelings to my long-time girlfriend (on Valentine's Day) through my college's newspaper.

All romantic ideas involve stuff you can both share and bring out the romance. It's good form to let him buy you the gift, and for you to be excited about the gift, and create ways to enjoy each other with the gift. IE: Chocolates (feeding to each other) --- Roses (using to run against his cheek - doing the tango) --- Poems (to swoon when he reads). This is the best gift you can give him --- enjoy his gift, and share his gift with him.

However, if he was doing something BIG (diamonds) well then good form is little tokens like Wine, Brandy, & Cigars --- again think about what the two of you like to share in playful ways. Men don't like it when you pay more for gifts than they're giving you.

Do a night on the town. Go to a play and spend the night in a nice hotel, preferably with a jacuzzi suite and breakfast in the morning thrown in.

I always found it extremely romantic to plan and evening where you take a trip down memory lane.

Go to different places that were significant in your relationship.
It's always sweet to go back to places where you two experienced your "firsts".

Not only will it be nice, but it will be something that both of you will remember forever.
