It was a normal Sunday like any other where my mother cooked lunch for the family and I sat in the lounge doing nothing afterwards while my parents did the gardening and my Aunty and Uncle read the newpapers. At about 3 o'clock, my Aunty said she was bored and she and my uncle went home. I suppose there was a birthday tea, but I don't remember. There was no party or anything really special done. I got a Swatch watch with a white strap that went green (as they all did) within about a month.

I rented out the party room at Kelsey's [restaurant] and had a bunch of friends come out. My dad paid for all the food and stuff, but if you didn't want to spend as much money you could always get people to pay for their own meals. We just ordered like appetizers and stuff. They had a pool table and a jukebox. We played cards and stuff. It wasn't anything fancy but we all had a good time.

I went to California to see my boyfriend and we spent the day in downtown Carlsbad...so many awesome shops and restaurants. Then we went down the the beach and he sang our song to me....thats only minor details. Amazing 16th bday.

I was really into the Beatles at the time so all my friends dressed up like their fave Beatle. We went to a local park, played Beatles tunes.I got a "Beatle"wig, Beatle dolls, tons of stuff with the Beatle theme. Then they all threw me in the lake (minus my prized Beatle wig, lol)

I was just finishing up my "born-again Christian" phase and beginning my "vegetarian" phase, so I had carrot birthday cake and went to a Christian rock concert! I also got my ears pierced.
