I have the bulb for it which is a Sylvania 9007 low-beam, I'm just not exactly sure the correct way to replace it.

make sure your car and lights are off. to be safe, disconnect the battery. behind the headlight housing you will see a wire harness that goes into the bulb. Disconnect that harness. Then there will be a cupling that hold the bulb in. Turn it counter clockwise and you should be able to pull the bulb out. You don't have to be too aggressive when taking it out but don't be scared ethier. when putting it back in, use reverse directions but make sure you don't touch the glass part of the blub with you bare skin or any other oils or grease. These bulbs get very hot and with oils and grease, they will only burn out real fast on you.

Maybe just unplug the wires to the headlight, twist the bulb holder counter-clockwise and pull it out of the headlight . Replace the bulb and install.
