People envy others for many reasons. Remember that envy is one of the seven deadly sins. These sins are in all of us and it is our responsibility to get over those and live a good life. Now people envy others for many reasons but it mostly is because they feel other people are so much luckier, smarter, more attractive, and better than they are. That others have SO much more than you do. Ins ted of working harder or internalizing what they have these people morn that they don't have what others have and envy others.These people are Jellous of others because they don't have what the envy-er considers important.

because of the comparisons in all the aspects of life. from the day you r born till the last day you will be compared to some one or the other. that's why people envy others for what they don't have.

first things first. NO ofense, just wanna correct u. people don't get envy of others, people envy others. that's a gramatical error. people envy others because they don't have self confidence. they are jealous of others' position and think they can't get there. jealousy is a part of human nature.

It is because one is constantly comparing oneself with the other. Who is better makes one envy or jealous. It also happens when others sit and compare you with someone else.
