Dogs and cats are very different from each other
As pets both dogs and cats , have excellent qualities

They both depend on us for our love and care of them
They are our responsibilities

DOGS;
They are devoted to pleasing you
You can take them out for walks
teach them to obey certain com ands
they can be exuberant and boisterous
Full of fun and tricks, or couch potatoes
They will give you total loyalty and devotion ,
No matter what .

Cats
Cats love warm laps
You can not train a cat ,
They are above that sort of thing!!!
they OWN YOU ,
if ,you are trainable , to their standards
They will remain with you, for a long contented life .
They are a great comfort, when you are ill or sad .
the purr of a cat on your lap, will
make sure you remain contented and relaxed .

I have kept dogs and cats all my life ,
together, as a family and also seperatly .
A house is not a home without pets

I like both and own both. I like them for different reasons.

Dogs find great joying in being with you, doing things with you and pleasing you. They truly want to be your best friend. They find joy in simple things ( a stick, a tennis ball, their favorite toy). They are just so much fun to have around.

Cats are more independent and though most enjoy human company and affection, it is usually on their own terms. Still, there is nothing more cozy and satisifying than curling up with a purring cat for a warm nap. They can also be entertaining and fun, but in a different way. If you are a gone a lot, a cat will do better being home alone for longer periods of time and will be better at entertaining itself.

It's like comparing apples and oranges - I like both.

Dogs.
Reasons.
1. Cats like to be by themselves. My friend said that if the devil had a pet, it would be a cat. I hate cats. Dogs are friendly and like to be with you. They can be a little annoying, but they are your best buddies.
2. Cats are scary and scratch you. It is hard for owners to cut their nails because they run away or scratch you with those. Dogs, they don't.

I like cats and dogs but prefer cats they are independent, sweet but clean, intelligent and can catch mice, kill bugs.

dogs. because cats are more independent, and don't like being with people as much. but dogs are loyal, and won't leave your side, and love being with you. although cats are entertaning to watch, dogs are more loving, and protective.

I like cats better because they aren't so dependent and don't hump your leg but I do love Yorkies.

I like dogs because they are faithful, protective and they want to please you.

I like cats because they are affectionate, low maintenance, and independent.

I can't choose which I prefer. Each has it's own positive and negative traits.
