There are tons, but a fairly recent release that you probably haven't read is Sleeping With The Fishes by MaryJanice Davidson. I loved it and have recommended to others who like fantasy and romance. It has a love triangle with a mermaid, merman prince, and human. I esp like it because she's not the Ariel type mermaid and it's quite funny! There is obviously going to be a sequel, which I can't wait for. Here's the description :
Book Description:
Fred is not your ordinary mermaid. She's not blonde. She's not buxom. And she's definitely not perky. In fact, Fred can be downright cranky. And it doesn't help matters that her hair is blue.

While volunteering at the New England Aquarium, Fred learns that there are weird levels of toxins in the local seawater. A gorgeous marine biologist wants her help investigating. So does her merperson ruler, the High Prince of the Black Sea. You'd think it would be easy for a mermaid to get to the bottom of things. Think again.

Hmmm. The 2nd book in the Earth's Children series by Jean Auel is a romance. But begin with the first book: "Clan of the Cave Bear". The 2nd book title is "The Valley of Horses".

There are several other sequels also.

Absolutely incredibly imaginative stories. Enjoy.

Kelley Armstrong- Bitten, Stolen, Industrial Magic, Practical Magic, etc. Probably my favorite fantasy/romance series.

J.R. Ward-Black Dagger Brotherhood series

Jayne Castle's books set on Harmony

Christine Feehan's Drake sisters books

Nora Roberts- A lot of her series are fantasy/romance. I particularly recomment the Three Sisters Island Trilogy, the Circle trilogy, and the Key trilogy.

J.D. Robb (Nora Roberts' pseudonym)-In Death series...another candidate for my favorite. Everyone i know who reads them falls in love with Roarke.

Patricia Briggs- Moon called and Blood Bound

Eileen Wilks- Tempting Danger, Mortal Danger and Blood Lines

Kinley MacGregor-Lords of Avalon series

Angela Knight- Mageverse series(Master of Swords, Master of the Moon, Master of the Wolves, etc.)

Hope you enjoy them.
