How many billionaires are there in the whole world?

According to one episode of, "The Fabulous Life" on VH1 there are 793 but really how many are there?

P.S. I'm not sure how liable a source this show is.

Depends on how you define it. Some monetary rate of exchanges exceed 300 to 1 dollar. In other words that billionaire in X country won't come even close when converted to pounds or US dollars. At any rate, I don't care that much, since I am not one of them...yet.

Im sure their fact checkers are much more *reliable* than anyone on Yahoo answers.
