I have an HP printer and i would like to use the photo paper, to make my brochure really glossy!! What do you guys think?

Depends on what you brochure is for -- and the context in which it will be used.

A nice cardstock with a matte finish can be just as good as glossy.

Glossy - good for a lot of photographs, as it will help make them pop.

Matte is great for a text heavy piece. It will show quality without having the glare making it harder to read the text.

Personally, I thought "glossy" looked amateurish and would prefer to go with a nice heavy paper with a slight shine.

Worked well for my clients.

I agree with you. It will look hott. Just make sure that you fold it evenly.
