They've just gotten out of the child stage when they really think they are the center of the universe, and now they have all those hormones racing through their bodies. They have nothing to measure how emotionally important something truly is at this point, they are just learning.

So, everything becomes overly dramatic. It's pretty normal. The key seems to be to acknowledge that it's very important to them, but not to get sucked into it. Then they grow up to be these annoying drama queens instead of drama princesses.

hey i am a teenager you've just gotta live with it for a few years cause at our age everyone trying to annoy us is a idiot just the way were ment to be
