My horoscope in the paper this morning, the one I just read on line and the one on my paper place setting last night at the Chinese restaurant all disagree on what today is going to be like for me.
Who's right ?

All horoscopes are wrong. It is based on cold reading. Is a psycology method that extarct answers from people. Look up the great James Randi. He has an explanation about this. Horoscopes are too broad to be true. They always say things like You have a friend in need or your boss has something to tell you so on and so forth. Well, who doesn't have a friend in need or isn't the boss always wanting to tell you something. Here is another neat experiment. Cut out your horoscope from your news paper and save them. You will notice that at some point the horoscope repeat. Yes, they reprint the same horoscope.
Also, use logic. The western horoscope have 12 signs. Yet there are billion of people on this earth. It is impossible for a single 3 line message to be accurate for 1/12 of the worlds population.
Here is a link to a James Randi on you tube.

Have you seen the twilight zone. I mean the old black and white. Well, there is this episode with William Shatner from star trek fame. He goes to a town with his wife and there is this little machine in a restaurant. The machine gives out a horoscope for a few coins. The horoscope then becomes true or so it appears. Shatner gets obsese and does not wants to leave the town. In the end the wife convinces him to and they leave. As they leave the camera spans out and they show another guy who became addicted to the horoscope machine. This is a must see.
On a more comedic side watch an episode of sponge bob square pants. There is an episode where they use this magic conshe that tells you what to do. Very funny for the kids but very insightfull into the human mind.

The one at the Chinese restaurant of course. If you play the lucky numbers on the back of your fortune cookie you will win a lottery. The hard part of course is figuring out which lottery to play.

~Sigh~ Wait until the end of the day then decide who was right. Or call Ms. Cleo. She will tell you but she charges like 4.99 a minute. I don't put much stock into my horoscope, it is a hobby.
