You can use a regular flat carpet, but why? It is soooo much easier to simply buy a molded carpet, which is cut, shaped and trimmed to fit the vehicle for which it is intended. You could try "YearOne" for the replacement carpet, and padding underneath, if necessary.
Make sure that all trim plates, console, seats and miscellaneous fittings are removed and tag all bolts, fasteners, etcetera.

If you don't mind cutting and glueing, and other techniques that require skill, then regular automotive carpet will do just fine. But if you don't do upholstery or making carpet floors for autos, then I suggest going with the molds. They are more expensive, but will give you a better result in the long run...

Get the molded carpet, it will fit like a glove....don't go buy the roll stuff, it wont lay right at all. Go here for the carpet.....

Molded carpet has a fungus,dont use this one.See if you can aquire a pre-shaped carpet.
