I'm trying to purchase a web-hosting package from yahoo, and I don't have a credit card. I do have a debit card, but I'm not being able to make the purchase.
I heard one can't make internet payments through a debit card (supposedly one needs a credit card). Is it true?

In case you don't have a credit card you can opt for the direct debit facility offered by hdfc bank, you need to authorise the transaction using your net banking id and password.
Also there is a facility in your funds transfer page which allows you to make payment to any visa card.

You should be able to use this if at the payment option, it says you can use a debit bank card.
