We are seriously looking at the Rondo and may buy one as soon as today - but I figured I'd come here after my many hours of internet searching to get some answers from actual owners! Thanks!

Remember KIA is a Korean owned company.
The first thing you should consider is one of the few but serious problems i had, i live near Michigan my KIA broke down in upper Michigan on a fishing trip, the Car had to be towed 612 miles to the nearest dealer, they accepted the charges but failed to give me another car so we had to rent a GM product sorry i did it because it was the best car i have ever driven, the KIA was 2200 bucks less but i put more miles on it going back and forth to the dealer. I like the car and the price. but those adds are just full of crap i had to go back 350 miles to pick up my so called repaired KIA and it was never the same. I have had five rice burners and i had it i have an equinox from GM if it breaks down there are 377 dealers in the state you can save 2200 on the KIA but you will wish you had not bought it when you go to trade it in i lost 3500 in residual value rice burners are just a nightmare

Have you been to the Kia forum yet?

The Rondo is also known as the Carens in other countries, lots of Kia owners on this site though there are alot of rio and spectra racer enthusiasts here. The number one selling Kia in America presently is the minivan Sedona.
