Hey,

Sometimes a mother knows that her kid is gay, sometimes she doesn't. Your mother probably does not, or does not want to.

It is important that you know what you are, and you do.

I don't know much about gays south of the border, but if you are intending, for example, to go to University in the U.S. -- I just wouldn't tell my mother if I were you -- I'd go to University, get my education, apply for citizenship -- oh and find some/a boyfriend(s) along the way.

Be happy with who you are, whether you tell your mother now, or years from now is less important than that you be happy with yourself, and out with other people -- like your friends in college.

Then you can be happy and have a good life.

Be loved,

Reyn

Why do you feel that you have to tell your mother? Your sexual preference is only your business and Should Not be an Issue. Think about it! Would you tell your mother that you are straight? It is not a big deal unless you make it one. Do not bring stress into your life if you don't have to.

If you've already told her, then it sounds like she's in denial. Good luck getting through t her. I live in "the land of the free" and my mother is still in denial about 9 years after I came out for the first time.

It's not something to fret over. I'm not gay, but my son is. He was really scared to tell me, (I kind of already knew), but he finally mustered up the courage, and did it. My love for him didn't diminish. My respect for him grew.Anyone who is true to themselves, and about their self is deserving of more respect. A parent will always love their child, unconditionally. It might take awhile for the shock and disbelief to wear off, but it will. Much luck to you.

Your mother probably has a feeling you are.

Keep in mind that even if at first she's angry, she'll get over it. If she truely loves you (and I'm sure she does... your her son!), she'll accept it and her love for you won't diminish. Though yeah, she might be a little angry at first, so just expect it and know things will get better.

=| I'm gay. Or bi. Or normal. Or solosexual O_o. And I too have not told my mum. I'm not going to tell her until I have decided ( tell her firmly of course ). She may have withdrawal syndrome =D. So just get a boyfriend and go bang and just let your mum find out on your wedding day.

I heard moms love surprises =D

=| Or just tell her for crying out loud. She loves you. You're her son.

your mother probably has a little suspicion, make sure you have lots of info for her to read on homosexuality when you tell her, it might make her come to terms with it easier.
