The petition against road charging has been signed by something like 1.2 million people. The bad news is that No.10 Downing Street are going to ignore this mass petition and go ahead with their plans to introduce road charges throughout the UK.

We're supposed to be living in a 'democracy', (there's a laugh), yet the government continues to ignore the wishes of the people.

In a 'democracy' the people chose their leaders from amongst their own peers. Those who are elected by the people must obey the will of the people.

This government has shown it is willing to ignore the will of the people and ride rough-shod over their wishes.

We all know what to do at the next election!

My votes : -
Pay as you Drive - NO
National ID Cards - NO
Rise in Council Tax - NO
Pay as you Bin - NO
Blair - NO
Brown - NO
etc.

Why would Blair take notice of a petition? If he can illegally invade a country when millions take to the streets to protest, he won't worry too much about a petition.
