A phrase can't be copyrighted. Phrases and slogans are trademarked with a little "tm" logo near them instead of the "(c)" logo. Although there's really no way to look up a list of trademarked phrases, I can give you a list of phrases to avoid.

Just ask around and see if people have seen or heard it used in assosciation with a product, and if you get a couple of people saying that they've heard it in that context - don't use it.


(Feel free to use it in your personal life, but not on a product).

If your from the U.K, you can visit www.patent.gov.uk to look up copyright lists, and to register things - but I think it specifically deals with inventions and products, rather than phrases.
