Take art lessons & that will help to develop your artistic talents. Start by checking your local newspapers to see if art classes are offered in your community. Also, you could call a local high school, speak to an Art teacher, & ask where you could go for art lessons. Good luck!

"Art" covers so much ground - do you mean drawing, painting, sculpture, computer-based, animation, or something else? For trad media, start by drawing what you see; don't copy from flat work until you have lots of practice drawing from life. If you're after something more hip, figure it out - learn about it - research it - and then be prepared to try a zillion things that won't look great but will be important to your learning. Good luck.

I find that the experimenting helps a lot. It sounds a bit flaky but it works. Apply any knowledge from 2d, drawing, and 3d to the other. Borrow ideas not images, leave your artist markings, and work from real life.

Lessons MAY help.
What 99.9% of artisits will tell you to do is practice and practice more. Draw, paint or create for atleast 2 hours everyday.
