Take a shot of some kind of liquor and gargle it in the back of your throat. Im serious. All a sore throat is, if you in your case you have caught a virus, the virus and your immune system are fighting in the back of your throat, your probably winning because its sore and your immune system is killing the healthy cells that have been infected by the virus.

All a shot does is kill EVERYTHING. And it will be gone in day. Trust me!

Or if you dont like he sound of hard liquor...Make a hot toddy.

1oz of rum
honey
lemon
tea

Try Zinc and powdered Vitamin C.

I HIGHLY recomend taking vitamins, whether supplement or naturally (i.e. fruits and veggies) because they really help strengthen your immune system to naturally fight off any viruses or bacteria that could be causing the sore throat...

The B-complex supplement REALLY worked for me! Esp. the one with zinc in it (by NatureMade) I was so surprised!! I had a sore throat too, and within two days it was totally gone! Simply by taking this supplement once a day..

But ask your pharmacist about being pregnant and taknig vitamins..

I'd second the suggestion of gargling with hot salt water; it really helps.
