Oh dear - it looks like you've found out the hard way just how insecure Microsoft Windows is!
Before connecting a Microsoft Windows system to the internet, you must first take as many precaustions as you can.
For now, you can use SUPERAntiSpyware
http://www.superantispyware.com/
FREE edition to clean up your infestation.
But remember that even though you've cleaned this one out, Microsoft Windows is still vulnerable!
* Make sure you always run up-to-date anti-virus and anti-spyware programs.
* Always install all Microsoft security updates as soon as they come out.
* Ensure you have a properly configured firewall.
* Never use Internet Explorer (use Firefox instead) or MSN Messenger (Use GAIM or Trillian).
* Never download anything you don't understand.
* Never click on any ad banners.
* Never use any "P2P" file sharing programs.
* Consider the upgrade to Linux or Mac OS X to be free of adware / spyware / trojans

Haha. you have basically been caught via between the oldest hints around. The virus replace into downloaded via the popup. Get Malwarebytes, replace it, do an entire test. while that's finished, get AVG, replace it, do an entire test. Then go away AVG working on your gadget. @all different posters Spybot catches spyware. no longer viruses. there's a difference. And for this reason, i think of that he's gotten a plague. that's a various call, yet same warning signs as older scams.

Since your homepage is pointing to http://protectionwarning.com/ , this means your PC is infected with a trojan called Zlob Trojan. Of course it is important to get rid of protectionwarning.com, but it is just as important to also remove the Zlob Trojan that implanted it there. In my experience, a program called SpyNoMore is your best bet in removing the Zlob trojan. By removing this trojan, you will also get rid of protectionwarning.com. Another symptom of Zlob Trojan is that it generates fake warning messages like:
System Alert
Critical System Error
System Performance monitor warning
Security Alert: NetWorm-i.Virus@fp
W32.Myzor.FK@yf

That is called "adware". Get the following two free programs and use them:
Adaware SE
SpyBot S&D
Use both of them and they will get rid of your adware.
