I work form home, sit at computer and take calls to place orders. Will I need a certain time off? Husband doesn't think I will time off. We can't really afford to.

Another thing, I am due in about 3 weeks. My company just says to let them know how much time I want off, I am just fearful of going that long without getting paid. Husband is a full time college student too!

ugghh, i looked at another forum on this subject, and they said that there are no organizations in Va that help you if your company doesn't offer paid leave. I tried looking it up too and found nothing

You shouldn't sit up for extended periods immediately after birth. It can cause more damage than the birth in terms of swelling, hemorrhoids, etc and can cause blood clots.
I also think you need at least 2 weeks to bond with your baby.
Realistically you may also find taking orders impossible with a fussy baby so you may need to consider what you will do to cut expenses if you find you can not work.

Having a new born is a FULL time commitment for a while. You will need some time off. Your body needs time to heal from the birthing experience. You also will not be sleeping much at night in the beginning. You should be able to get state disability while you are on maternity leave to help make up for lost wages. While you may not need the whole 6-8 weeks off you will need some time to adjust to having a new baby in the house. And if you are breastfeeding it is best to have same time to practice and get good at it before you have to do it while talking on the phone and working on the computer. Good Luck and Congratulations!!!

You can find out more about natural hemorrhoids cure here http://curehemorrhoid.info
Diarrhea can contribute to hemorrhoid formation because the bowel undergoes pressure strains due to the condition. Undue pressure on the veins that make up internal hemorrhoidal structures can worsen existing damage. Internal hemorrhoids are not visible, unless they proplapse (protrude) from the anus, either constantly or during a bowel movement. If this is the case, then you have a grade III or IV internal hemorrhoid. If the protrusion is on the anal verge or the area surrounding the anus, then its likely an external hemorrhoid. Reducing pressure from issues of diarrhea and constipation will help. Not straining during a bowel movement, not lifting heavy objects, not sitting for extended periods, all will help.
An external hemorrhoid is simply a vein located at the anal verge, the wall of which as weakened and protruded. Don't push on it, this will only increase pressure and worsen it. The body has to repair the vein wall and rebuild the integrity. This takes time, perhaps weeks, if all goes well. Use sitz baths and over-the-counter medications such as pads or creams to provide symptom relief in the interim. These won't solve the issue long term, but will give the tissue a better chance at self-healing.
Internal hemorrhoids are a different matter and require more intervention. Your best bet is to educate yourself about the condition, its causes and what options there are to treat it both short and long term. Don't ignore it though, hemorrhoids tend to become chronic in nature, lasting years or decades in some cases.

i think you should take as much time as you need off because you just give birth or going to be.. and your husband should look for job to support you and your child the other way around..if he is full time student he still can work.. I know few people who work and go school at the same time.. it stress full but it income....
I think your husband just think over.. You have to bond with your kid.. where you going to put your kid after you have give birth.. you would be busy... with the baby.. or you can always find better job... then some company who doesn't pay for maternity leave... USally company pays for at less 1 month .. but you need ask your doctor for how long.. Or You should have save money if can not afford maternity leave. and baby is a lot of money...So good luck or as family memeber to help you with some money problems...
And congra on your baby...

When deciding whether or not to take maternity leave, you have to figure in what would be the best situation for your baby. I know money can be tight and the worries that come with it can be stressful, but your baby's healthy physical, mental, and emotional growth should be of your (both you and your husbands) first priority. You really need to spend time with your baby when it first comes home, not just be in the same room with him/her. A possibility to alleviate the money woes would be to ask your husbands employer about possibly giving him paid maternity leave while you still work, or maybe even taking some of your paid vacation time, if that's an option for you. Either way, stay with your baby.

Well I would suggest taking at least 2 to 3 wks off after the baby is born. You will need to get the baby in a schedule and have some time to yourself. You are going to be exhausted and this just means you husband will have to pick up the slack. Or make your husband stay home with the baby for 1 day and see how quick he changes his mind. Good luck and hope things work out for you.

I had hemorrhoids problems for different years. I was basically simply excessively embarrassed to go to a doctor or to the pharmacy to request a hemorrhoid treatment. At last I went to a doctor that tried to do everything in her power to help me, yet unfortunately the prescription didn't work. Surgery was impossible! By then, I was powerless, embarrassed and with just about no social life, so I've chosen to try something else. Then I discovered this method: http://treathemorrhoid.kyma.info I purchased this book on the most proficient method to dispose of hemorrhoids naturally notice it helped me a great deal! I don't feel torment anymore! I wish I had it years before. I can't accept how rapidly I got relief (just about overnight!) they've never returned and I don't worry about it anymore in light of the fact that on the off chance that they do, I know precisely what to do. After reading the book and making a move in 48 hours the ache, irritation, tingling and draining was gone. To my surprise I could permanently cure my hemorrhoids 100% naturally. Hemorrhoids are fundamentally engorged veins. The veins return the blood to the heart and those from the lower parts of the body work against gravity to push blood again to the heart. At the point when the blood becomes thicker because of one's absence of water admission, the blood gets pooled in the veins in light of the fact that blood is more hard to stream. This makes them get engorged and become bigger. On the off chance that this happens in the rectal area, it becomes hemorrhoids. I can assure you that I tackled my hemorroids problems with this system: http://treathemorrhoid.kyma.info It's definitly the most ideal approach to effectively dispose of hemorreoids.

ok, companies don't pay for maternity leave, a employment insurance from the government does, it's a subsidy rate from what you normally get paid. Not too sure where you are, but up here in canada were allowed up to 50 weeks of leave and can take a extra 15 weeks more if signed by a doctor. I'd strongly check into your government and disability insurances.

Yes, you will still need some time off. Depending on your delivery you may not be even up to sitting in front of a computer (mainly a c-section). The first couple of weeks are so important. You won't have much sleep and you need to sleep when the baby sleeps. I know it may seem rough, because you can't afford it. Maybe you and your husband can cut back on some things for a couple of weeks. It doesn't have to be a long leave, but you need a leave.

That depends on how your boss feels. I also work from home, but next time, I do plan on taking some maternity leave. You need at least a couple of weeks to recover. You're going to be exhausted, and having a baby is going to make your job harder than you realize.I understand your concerns about money; we have the same problem. If you budget carefully, you can set aside your regular expenses for the period of time you'd like for maternity leave. Good luck, and congratulations!
