You should do it on Psyche and Cupid in honor of Valentine's day.Aphrodite was jealous of Phyche's beauty so she ordered Cupid to make her love the ugliest man in the world. But Cupid fell in love with her and could not do it. So he took her to a isolated place and only visited her at night. Cupid had forbidden her to ever look at his face. But her sisters convinced her to look because he could be a monster. So she looked at him because she feared he would kill her. So she had a candle and a dagger but when she saw his face she fell in love. At that moment candle wax fell on Cupids shoulder and he woke and left her to be alone forever. Then she was given 4 tasks to complete.

1. To sort through 3 types of grain in a pile by sundown
2. To get the wool of a golden man-eating sheep
3. To get water from the river Styx
4. To go to the Underworld and get some of Persephone's Beauty

She completed all of the tasks and they were married by Zeus. She became immortal can they lived happy ever after and had s daughter named Pleasure. Cupid and Phyche names mean Body and Soul.

Hero and Leander, lovers who saw eachother secretly. Hero would leave a light on so that Leander would see it as a signal, and he would swim across a body of water at night to be with her. One night, there was a storm, and I don't remeber the details, but Hero could not extinguish the light, so Leander drowned.
Atalanta is an interesting myth too, she was a devoted virgin to Atemis the goddess of huntresses. So she was a powerful warrior woman that no man could match, but when she did have "relations" with a man, Arteis punished her by turning her and her lover into bears.

Well, it's not exactly a myth, persay, but there was the belief that the Russians and Americans in WW2 could do no wrong. They were hailed as heroes even though they raped in excess of 2 million women.

You could try Jason and the Argonauts, because recent investigations and research has shown that the story could have been based on fact.
