The conservatives would read this story and say, "See smoking cigarettes is good for you! It saved this cat's life, and real research indicates that having pets lowers your blood pressure, stress and anxiety levels, all of which are unhealthy. So smoking cigarettes is healthy."

And the poor fools who listen to conservative talk radio and tv would fall for it, like they do all the other BS put out by these charlatans.

No, but there are lot's of landlords who do not like cats and they will have them taken to the shelter even against your desire. does not matter the cat was not theirs.
