I think it's very possible if you consider the reasons for war.

1. In the modern world most civil wars occur in nations that are poor, autocratic, and regionally divided.
2. Some models to explain the occurrence of civil wars stress the importance of change and transition.
3. Competition for resources and wealth within a society is seen as a frequent cause for civil wars.
4. The probability for a civil war is also increased by political change, regardless whether toward greater democracy or greater autocracy.
5. Intermediate regimes continue to be the most prone to civil war, regardless of the time since the political change.

But, who are we to predict hardship and suffering unto others?

Since the 1700's till the early 1800's Dutch and British settlers have fought Koisan over cattle and Xhosa on the Eastern front of the Cape colony. Then the Voortrekkers fought the Zulu and Ndebele in the 1830's. Later in the 1800's the British were involved in skirmishes with the Zulu in Natal. In the 1870's and around the turn of the previous century the 2 Anglo Boer wars happened. Come WW1 and SA fight Germany over German West Africa. A few years later in the second WW SA troops fought and died for the British Crown against Italy in North Africa and Europe. In the 1960's the bush wars in Angola and Rhodesia started, the former keeping us busy til 1989.

confident, south africa could have civil conflict. If the Democratic Alliance could beat the ANC in the election there could definately be a civil conflict. There are people who've sworn that whites will in no way rule this usa, and that they'll do something to be certain that. The ruling celebration will in no way settle for defeat. They pancked in 2008 while COPE became shaped, they theory that their dominance became going to be challenged. They went in any respect lengths to be certain that the "Black DA" would not see any gentle of day. If COPE proved to be a danger to the ruling celebration, there could have been some volume of blood shed. As for crime, it impacts each south african, its no longer a white phenomenon. all and sundry in south africa is bored with crime, no longer purely whites. Whites think of that crime purely impacts them because of the fact they think of that they arw greater significant than black. Thats nonsense.

In my opinion its inevitable - actually I am much more concerned about the fact that SA is about to go the way of Zimbabwe. How will everyone cope is the farms are all carved up and divided out and the townships are all ploughed over because they don't look so great and the housing doesn't meet building regulations?

Well lets see...everything looks peaceful outside! There is something called education and reconciliation of the past so there is no civil war here cause i don't see any event that might lead 2a civil war especially with our democracy.
