Billy boy was a good speaker and knew how to charm the ladies as well. He could tell some of the biggest lies and people would believe him. Even when they knew he was telling the biggest ones they would tell themselves he must know more than I so he must be telling it as it is. A real con man that Mr Clinton.

Even if Bush tells the truth no one believes him because he is not a very polished speaker.

I honestly can't see very much difference in either of them when it comes to the bottom line. It is just how they get there that makes the difference.

It was not the fact he had sex with, that the impeachment hearings were leld. It was because he lied about it and many other things.

Are you talking about Hillary Clinton, or Bill Clinton? Most of us recognize that Bill Clinton lied--we may not think he should have been answering questions about his sex life under oath, but we accept that he lied. Better to lie about that than about why we should invade a whole 'nother country. But if you're talking about Hillary... she doesn't seem to lie anymore than any other politician, and probably doesn't lie a lot less than any other politician, either.

I think it has more to do with his charisma than it does with his honesty. I have seen many people even of Yahoo Answers who are devotees of Clinton admit he lied, but they defend him by saying it was about sex. What's difficult to understand is why they would excuse that, even though that wasn't the dishonesty that caused his impeachment. If Bill Clinton had had an affair (or whatever you call his thing with Monica) during the election process, it likely would have destroyed his candidacy, so why is it so acceptable to people when he is in office? Not to mention there were many more alleged issues with more women during his tenure as Governor of Arkansas. I am off point, he was in trouble for perjury before the Grand Jury, which was a different kind of dishonesty.

For those who continually defend him by bringing up President Bush, his name was not mentioned in the question. Just answer this one.

What is it with you?!!??!?!?! Do you have some specific reason for hating the Clintons!?!??! It gets very old, believe me. And in answer to your question, we realise that he lied about the intern. Name one other time. I dare you. And, while lying is wrong, at least he didn't recklessly invade countries that were posing very little threat to the US.

Oh shut-up about Bush already....who cares?

Everybody lies....and if you lie a lot, then maybe you shouldn't be running the whole ****** country. It's not my fault people chose Bush to be president.
