I was having trouble with my car starting, so i took the starter out and put it back in after testing it, finding there was a short in a wire. In this i disconnected the battery for my 94 camaro. The car now runs, but my security light is on and my stereo does not come on. What can i do to fix this?

Pull the ECN and other computer fuse(I don't remember the name of the other one) and leave it out overnight. (I don't remember how long it takes, but it takes a while to reset the computer.)
As long as you got the wire situation fixed, it should be a problem after that.
