Friends....friends are great at pity parties because the good ones will tell you that everything is going to be okay, no matter how badly it sucks, and they'll get drunk and be pitiful with you :)

I got to questions late and I can't sum things up any better than the Blue Faery So I think you should give her the best answer.
If you invite me we could be pity partners getting rotten drunk with JD :)
He is the best pity partner I have found so far in my absent travelling life. Sometimes when it get's late we chase the Wild Turkeys together :P

Lots of tissues, depressing music (Jeff Buckley's songs are soo sad...), chocolate ice cream, and well, junk food in general. And close friends (they're for the after-pity party...)

My Rubber Ducky helps me at my pity parties, he listens to everything I say and makes me feel so much better when he smiles. =)

lots of junk food.and a sappy tragic video...something like cold metal jacket..that movie fits in with a pity mood

Alcohol... lots of alcohol.
Maybe some people will want chocolate or ice cream as well.
