Absolutely! Just the second when you think that you're through with the joys of midnight feedings, various colored poop, vomit on your Formals, trips to the hospitals and principals offices...hormones rage, mom & dad have thrilling sex now that the kids are out of the house and he can chase her butt nekkid around and make hot monkey love on the cool kitchen countertop...then...WHOOP, there he is 9 months later!

WHEW!!!! DOWN, GIRL!!!

So, in answer to your question, yes, indeed!

Yes.. and no you do not always need fertility drugs to help. I worked at a hospital and seen many many many women coming in over 50 and one was 57 thinking that thought something was wrong and she was pregnant.. not only that.. it was twins. She had had her tubes tied when she was 35 and they had come undone. So yes it is possible. Things happen all the time.
Note: going through menopause does not mean it will not happen. Website attached.

If that person is still ovulating at that age, yes. It's rather unlikely, as most women hit menopause during their 40's. Other methods of conception using donor eggs, for example, would allow a woman of 50 to become pregnant also.

As long as you are still producing hormones and eggs then yes (haven't gone through the menopaus). It can happen with fertility treatments if you have. The oldest woman to hav a baby was 67.

Well, I was a nanny over the summer when I was in high school for a family that owned a small business.

Not only was the child's mother 48 when the child was born, but the child was conceived after the mother had a REVERSAL of her tubal ligation! How's *that* for extraordinary!

I guess that if their still fertile then there is every chance that a woman of that age may well get pregnant however the chances of a healtrhy pregnancy and baby will be less and pregnancy would likely be more demanding.

Yes, if they have not gone through menopause. The chances are much less than for a younger person, but it can and does happen.
