Best Female: Martina Navratilova
I think the best male player in the world will soon change. Obviously I am speaking about Roger Federer. Although Roger still needs to sustain his current reign before we crown him the best ever. Also if he can continue to win slams (especially if he gets the French and passes 14 career slams)...then he WILL be the best ever.
As for the woman's best player ever, I personally don't see anyone ever coming close to Martina. Steffi Graf was close and could have been the best. I just don't think you can ignore all of the titles as well as everything Martina did for the game of tennis. No current women on the WTP will ever ascertain the level that Navratilova did.

Honestly i don't think Maria will win many titles she says she thinks she will retire around the same time kim clijsters is so she dosen't have too long left
