The last time the teams squared off, the Steelers beat them handily, and that was the season before last. There haven't been too many personnel changes since then, but I guess the Bears should get the nod here because they made it to the Superbowl this past season. But to whoever cited Ben Roethlisberger being "inconsistent" as being a reason, I laugh in your face. Grossman's inconsistent play cost the Bears the Superbowl, while Roethlisberger at least had valid reasons to have a down year this past season (motorcycle accident, random appendectome, cheap-shot concussion by Atlanta defenseman, and a coach who didn't rest him enough in light of these misfortunes).
We'll see who's better next season. Can't wait!

Steelers. Even at 8-8, if they'd been the AFC reps in the Super Bowl, the outcome would've been the same, because for one thing Big Ben's been there once and came away with a ring!

Currently the bears would be since they made it to playoffs and superbowl. Since both teams have been in the NFL definately the steelers because they have more superbowl wins and basically had a dynasty in the 70's

Playing head to head it would depend on the play of two players, Ben Rothlisberger and Rex Grossman. Neither had very strong seasons, it was sickening how many games the steelers lost because Ben was terrible this year, Grossman had a QB rating less than 5 twice last season.(if i remember correctly). Hurts me to say this but Id go with the bears based on last season.

The top 10 teams in the AFC are better than the best NFC team.
Steelers win that match up 90% of the time.
Go black and good!
