I guess this question somehow offended the leftists yesterday, as it was deleted. No problem though. I can repost it as often as it is deleted.
Fox News has never exhibited a hint of a bias in an actual news broadcast. If you feel this is incorrect, by all means, let us know.
The problem lies in that the kleft apparently can't tell the difference between news and commentary. Bill O'Reilly is not a newscaster, and has never purported to be.

Then they should call themselves Fox Commentary--and they should certainly kill the "Fair and Balanced" lie. One shouldn't have to sit through that level of right-wing commentary to get to a few unsettlingly-short pieces of actual journalism. Even when someone left-wing, like Keith Olbermann, is doing commentary, he includes long, long clips of the primary sources--CSPAN footage, for example. When Hannity interviewed an imam the other day, he cut out of the clip the part of the prayer where the imam thanked God for "this great nation."

Sure:
Everything else = News
Fox = Commentary
Seriously though,
Fox is slanted horribly. If you doubt me, just wait for some bad news to come out of about this administration or the replublican party in general.
You don't usually have to wait long.
Then see how much its covered by EVERY other news outlet. Then go to Fox. You'll see they may have a 30 second blip on this bad news at the top of the hour. Then for the rest of the hour they'll talk about the latest kidnapping inn Nebraska. Or maybe have an interview on how trans fats are bad for you etc...
They're genius in their story selection.
And no other outlet allows the hosts to "think out loud" as much as Fox does...
??? NO RESPONSE RICK N????
I guess I must be right :)

Seriously, dude, if you want some decent responses and not get your question deleted, try to be a little less offensive. It doesn't help your case by being beligerent and belittling of those who don't share your views. If you want a decent discussion, try to keep your obviously strong views out of it and make it an open discussion. I would say this even were you a "leftist."
I would also like to know what the heck are you so angry about. So what there are others who have differing views. Makes life more interesting, I say.

Um, actually, the only news on TV that is not commentary is CNNHeadline news, except late at night and on the weekends. Fox nesa is always commentary, but neo-cons consider it righteous good news, even when all they talk about is stalking astronauts and a dead celebrity that contributed nothing to society,

Jon Stewart is not a newscaster, either. Yet the right complains about him in almost the exact same terms that the left complains about O'Reilly.
And Murdoch has already admitted that he used his 'news' station to try to swing popular opinion towards the war, so your claim that Fox has never shown bias during a newscast is...well, wrong.

I think the problem is there are no "news" shows anymore.. with 24 hr news channels there are alot of "opinion" shows..
If the news was presented with out slant I think the viewers would be bored... we are a reality show kinda viewers... I think alot of people view the news that way..

I have followed links posted by Liberals - links used to corroborate their facts. Usually where I am led to are opinion pieces - not actual news stories. So no. I guess they (sorry to stereotype) don't know the difference between news and commentary.
EDIT - People shouldn't report a question like this. Claiming that it is "offensive" is BS. Yes, it obviously shows a bias against the "leftist" community - but it is someone's opinion. You can't report someone because you don't agree with their opinion. How dumb.

I don't think you're being belligerent or belittling. I think some can, but remember, it's not about fact if you're a liberal, it's about feelings. How it makes you feel, how others feel about it, etc... Commentary IS news.

O'Reilly is nothing. He's a propogandist with no regard for the truth. And FOX? It's built upon a stack of the Bush Administration's lies.
