The best concealer for dark circles is touch eclat by yves saint laurent.
I also use bare escentuals make up, there concealer is called bisque, pretty much the whole range is in a powdered form. It is all completely natural and is non-comedogenic which means it does not block the pores and contains no artificial colourings. Because of this it is very good for skins which suffer from blemishes. It shouldn't cause the pores to become more blocked leading to more blemishes, as most make-up does.

Go to your local drug store and buy physicians formula yellow corrector. I have very dark circles and this is the only thing that works. Get a small application brush and put it under your eyes after you have applied moisturizer (that way it doesn't look cakey). You will need a light concealer to cover the yellow but it blends very nicely. Use the powder form mineral covers. It is very light and covers perfectly.. go to http://www.youravon/christinahernandez and you can find it there. Its pretty cheap too.

Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat Shade 1 is brilliant for dark circles under your eyes and for eliminating the appearance of blemishes. Here is what i got from a website about it:
YSL's touché éclat has been one of the biggest selling cosmetics of all time. Zest Magazine in January 2002 called it the 'cult product' that 'is the dark-circle saviour. This lovely skin highlighter has tiny light particles and mineral extracts to eliminate imperfections and create a healthy, natural glow to your complexion. Use just below any eye bags or dark circles to minimise their impact on your features and around the edge of the lip line to create the illusion of fuller lips. This product aims to allow amateurs to achieve a professional look to their makeup.
I use this product everyday and it's brilliant, expensive but brilliant.

to reduce dark circles cut thin slices of potato and apply to the underneath of your eyes for 5minutes as a quick fix but in general just get more sleep.
concealers and foundation not only clog pores, giving you more spots, but they also extend the healing time meaning theyre on your face for longer!
what your doing now, however, is quite normal. most people dont have the exact skin tone that matches upto a concealer so they have to mix. although i advise you stay away from them both.
go for a 1 week 'facial detox', drink lots of water (8 glasses a day), eat your 5-a-day fuit and veg and stay away from unhealthy foods. apply NOTHING to your skin i.e. no make-up. cleanse it 3 times everyday with a unperfumed cleanser and toner. this should allow spots to heal and hugely reduce the amount of new ones, giving you clearer skin

The best heavy-duty concealer I've found is "Boing" by Benefit which is great at covering blemishes - they do a really light shade as well.

I use Body Shop liquid concealer, then follow with Body Shop Tinted Moisture Lotion in Natural. Then on a special occasion I add a little blusher.
I am 60 and it makes my skin look years younger - so I have been told.

For concealer, I use Chanel Anti-Cernes Quick cover. For dark circles, I use Chanel Estompe De Chanel Corrective Concealer. I use Chanel #1 brush to apply the concealer under my eyes. WIth the same brush, you can also use it to apply the concealer quick cover.
