I easily have in no way seen a HD that has an IDE besides as a Sata connection yet while it does then i do no longer see why you're able to no longer be waiting to hook up with a pc, be it your PC1 or PC37. Btw, your PC2 purely has an IDE connection? because of the fact it could have 2 IDE connections. And once you're saying it has "no longer something which could be used with a annoying rigidity." then you definately are incorrect because of the fact because of the fact it has 2 IDE connections then you definately could connect as much as 4 annoying drives to it. till i'm lacking something, if so... sorry. yet while messing with annoying drives be certain you recognize relating to the slave vs grasp configurations by using changing pins on the back, different than for that, and the fact which you're able to continuously have your pc off with the plug off the socket while doing this then something could be accomplished.

Press delete at startup, right at the beginning. Once in BIOS find the boot priority setting (should list a few devices, CDROM drive, Floppy & hard drive) and shift hard drive to the top.
If no hard drive is listed, your hard drive has probably failed, which means a new hard drive and reinstalling the operating system.

Most BIOSs (Phoenix based) have Boot settings whereby you can set the order the PC looks for a boot device. Normal settings would be floppy(if it has one), HD, CD, other. Change the order with the +/- keys and save with F10.

Every computer is different in how to access the bios. You should see the command as it boots up.If it loads to quick then push pause/break key so you can see it.Then you need to change the boot sequence to hard drive then CD.
