My aunt asked me to design a website for her new business and she said she would pay me to do it, but I really don't have any idea of how much to charge her. It is a five page site. How much would you charge? Flat price for the whole thing, or an hourly rate?

Hi .. i'm a graphic and web designer myself ..
There is no specifec price .. it should all depend on how much work it needs ..

u know .. 5 pages could take like a 10 days work .. or maybe 1 day work .. it will deppend on how much work u put in it ..

i guess u r still new in the website field .. not sure how prof r u with photoshop .. flash ..

i would charge something between 300 - 450 .. i think that would be a good price ..

Remember .. this will add to your portfolio .. and she is your aunt .. and this is your first time ( i guess ) so u could give her a discount .. lol :P

By the ways .. dont forget to add the cost of the domain and the hosting .. Domain would be around $10 a year .. hosting around $85 / year for a simple website with emails too .

If u need anything regarding webdesigning, photoshop, flash .. IM me any time

good luck

Do it for free. She's your aunt and you're building a portfolio, but sign the page and make a link to your page .
