Do you mean aggressive? He's probably hitting maturity and is becoming territorial.

The sellers don't normally tell people this about iguana and how big they become. There's one in our local garden center pet shop and he's got to be about 5 foot from nose to tip of his tale.

Get in touch with a reptile expert. Your vet will beable to put you in touch with one.

like everyone else has already said, if the iguana is reaching sexual maturity lots of time they will become aggressive (especially males).
If you mean his temperment has changed in that he is quiet or lethargic, contact a vet who is familiar with treating reptiles.

it is a valid concern. Is your iguanan a female or male. how big is he? the size can help determine sexual maturity. also sometimes they can become aggressive if left alone too much. if they learn being mean will get you to leave them a lone well then they will train you. believe it or not most animals train their owners not the other way around.

it is probably because it is mating season. both my male and female have gotten a little more territorial and aggressive because of breeding season.
